Established in 2016 in the cool maritime climate of the North West of Tasmania, the coastal vineyard has five varieties of grapes: Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Riesling.
Our vineyard is complimented by our onsite cafe Windows on Westella, which is open 7 days a week for tastings and cellar door sales.

Our Process
Following the foundations set by Mike and Gaynor Broadby back in 1983 of the striving for the very best quality, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach these traditions continue with our Broad Acres Vineyard.
From planting, hand picking every bunch, and timely delivery to the local winery, every process is handled with care and attention to ensure the best quality wines.
Our coastal vineyard is located ideally between Ulverstone and Devonport on the Cradle Coast in an ideal maritime climate with Bass Strait to the North and Tasmania’s highland mountains to the South.
A mere stones throw from the ocean makes the perfect backdrop.
Nestled in the vineyard is our onsite Windows on Westella cafe and cellar door.

ONSITE CAFE
Windows on Westella cafe is a modern fully licenced cafe offering full table service and an extensive seasonal all-day menu hand crafted by our talented chefs.
The cafe is well known for the specialty dishes that feature pickled onions along with delicious gourmet dessert waffles.
Enjoy a wine or pickled onion tasting or let your senses go wild with our Tasmanian Vineyard Platter as you celebrate some of Tasmania’s locally produced food complimented by our selection of Broad Acres Wine.
